The shortcode [[oik]] simply expands to display oik but it’s enclosed in an HTML span. By default bbPress does not strip tags from forum title tooltipss. So there can be problems with the display.
You can overcome this using the extreemly simple [bw_plug name=oik-bbpress] plugin. This plugin is used on this website.
